Chris Buck totally melting into his music here. I think this bloke deserves big things, let's hope he goes far.

Great solo! i really believe that the guitar is the most expressive instrument and that vibrato is the most expressive technique. Without good vibrato, one simply can't create emotive expression imho.

It's not very often I see someone completely melding as one with instrument and music, I've seen people trying to look like they're doing it but it often looks fake, Chris looks like he's in some kind of deep meditation.

It's his sense of time and his pitch (his bends).

He doesn't play anything new or revolutionary over that very standard chord progression. But 'how' he does it is what separates him from the average player. He means it when he says it. Attitude and experience goes a long long way.

Well said wink.gif It's his "boomer bends" as the kids would say, that makes him a great player. He's really feeling each one and responding emotionally to the music he's playing over. He's not looking at his hands, not debating his choices, he's just feeling the music and responding with deep soulful musical expression.

It's vibrato and bending that make the guitar such an expressive instrument imho. Those two things are so important to becoming a better player that it can't be overestimated.
