I have had a good guitar day today, I have been playing for about 6 hours now. Firstly, progress from previous days of dedicated practice is showing. Then, I took Pavel's advice to me from awhile back and "picked a lesson that I thought was out of my range." He told me that is when you really have to push yourself and that causes improvement. I must be in a good mindset because I was able to soak up two lessons today: Pavel's Luca, and Muris' PG 1. I have been practicing both of these, nowhere close to tempo, but I am building strength and learning patterns and licks. It will take me a year to work these lessons up to tempo, but it will be well worth it at the end. Thanks to Muris and Pavel for providing such excellent lessons!

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

One things for sure, Jenkinson, you live in a guitar-monster town, (Austin). There is a mojo going on down there that is sure to rub off! Keep up the good work...
