So I've gotten together with another guy and we've connected musically and we've been creating some really great stuff. From what I've seen and from what I know I'm capable of...I think we can really make it in the world of music. So in this post, I'll share with you our progress and how we're actually trying to get famous. As for now...your support is greatly appreciated, but your criticism and suggestions would be awesome. I'll upload our songs here once we've recorded them. If you know of anything that could help us get the word out about our music or that would make our music sound better...please let us know. 2 guys can only do so much until we start making money off of what we love...MUSIC! I've posted the first song that we recorded below. I did everything but the vocals and acoustic guitar part. I also recorded it with my own equipment.

What's up Kyle,

Hav'nt even listened to the upload but sur its great as i've listened to some of your others.

If you hav'nt already, I would seriously consider creating an artist profile here.
http://www.reverbnation.com/

This site is awesome and has alot of really cool features that can connect you with fans. It monitors in real time how many hits and downloads you recieve. Also you can search out other bands of different genres in your area. Creat mp3 player to download your material for everyone to hear. You can even post that player in any URL.

Steve

Edit: Hey man, just had a listen and i think that was really good! I would recomend some backing vocals in the chorus and pump that sweet electric guitar up a little in your master mix! Great job. Take a demo to your local country music station and I bet it gets played.

Very nice song here Kyle!! I really like the overall idea , vocals are cool! On the first listen here are my impressions :
bass line should be considered more, its not really in the groove with the drums (they sound apart from each other to me)..Line it self is ok , just move it a little in time ...best way is to hit all the bass drum beats at the same on bass and than go from there to other notes..Some turnarounds here and there would work cool too..I got a sense that you need another guitar other than acoustic there , especially in chorus to allow it to explode and not be flat with other verses etc smile.gif These are just personal impressions , song is good overall just needs some polishing smile.gif

Interesting song man, great effort! The idea is very nice, and the sound is decent. You must work on it off course, drum samples are too synthetic and sound looped, bass is weak, and guitars buzz a little. On the chorus you should insert another guitar or some pads in order to get some dynamics, this way sounds too flat.

Keep trying, and congratulations on your determination to succeed. You are definitely on a right track! smile.gif

It sounds realy...Professional! tongue.gif

The only thing I mentioned, was that the vocalist needs some practicing. Is that you Kyle? It sounds like the tune is nice, but it just misses something. Maybe he or you could check out the singing lessons!

Overal: Great Job Kyle!!

G'd Luck, Kaz
