I was thinking of building my own guitar, i know that it takes a lot of work, so i was wondering if i should buy parts of the guitar and assemble them (like marcus did) or completely build a guitar. Some friends told me that we can find master classes (or a somebody who can teach how building guitars), it cost 'bout 1000€ but you once you've done it, you win your own built guitar ! but i didn't find this masterclass, it's maybe just a legend lol
i also found a site, that have some interesting informations 'bout buildings guitars.

I'm not sure of doing this project, but i would really like doing it ! so if anyone have any advices, or feedbacks .. it would be cool smile.gif
Thanks

Jad

Yea i wouldnt go straight into the heavy detailed stuff like a floyd. Get solid and easy to install parts, then customize later.

That's an interesting topic. I could never build a guitar myself, only play it and tweak it, but if I had some spare time why not. smile.gif

My suggestion is to first make a guitar out of spare parts. It's a lot of work there too, don't worry. After you complete it, you should know if you wanna venture deeper in guitar building waters. wink.gif

I would like to try to put together a Warmoth some day. People who tried them say it's really quality stuff, of course that's not like building your own, but you get to put it together and you will probably get a real player...

Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.
