Hi All,
Is it better to check the intonation with a new set of strings,or does this matter? Thanks in advance |

Depends of how old your current set is,
too old stings have a great chance to be out of tune/intonation, so be careful. -------------------- Youtube

Mee too, I would go for a new set of strings for sure, just to play safe.

It is always good to check the intonation after changing the strings.
You should always check it if you kept one set for long time periods on the guitar or using the same gauge but different brand of strings. On using different gauge you have to do a complete setup. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

I'd recommend you to play your new strings for an hour or two so they can feel at home and are stretched out enough.
