Nostalgia For Infinity
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Here I stand on the edge of a machine
A spherical mass, Dwarfing the sun
Faced with the ultimate end of existence
My eyes stare blanky into a white infinity
I walk along the surface of light
Contemplating how it will end for me
I think of all the centuries endured
And realize what I'm fighting for
My blood is freezing in the coldness of space
My tears are iced as soon as they fall
I know there is no other choice
Its my life or everyone else's
My heart knows what to do
But my mind is simply not ready
I force my hand into the sphere
Its warmth begets the knowledge inside
I am soon consumed in its light
Falling inside this machine
My arms desperatley try to grasp
But I am engulfed into eternity
SOLO
Here I stand inside of this machine
Vertigo obscuring my vision
The figures before me, Barely shadows
Try to explain this feeling to me
My heart is relaxing my pain is fading
My feelings of fear have subsided
Is this the life, That awaits me after death
Is this to be my continuance?
I feel like a ghost in purgatory
Held betwen life and death
Existence stopped in a moment
A pause for a breath
Welcome to a simulated world
Engulfed by the matrix you feel
Blessed or damned be the soul
This is to be your quasi-existence
Body has died, But life pushes on
Your mind is integrated in this machine
A massive galactic, Universal brain
Infinte in its calculationsSOLO
We have remained here for 900 years
Studying life that never has been seen
Isolated from the outside worlds
In a digital existence
Our bodies perished so long ago
But we live on in the form of information
We know you do not belong here
Your desinty awaits in the coldness of space
Take what we impart to you
The gift of infinite knowledge
Your consciosness will always be
A part of us nowHere I stand on the edge of this machine
Arms spread open, And ready to leave
Mind still numb, With infinite knowledge
A short breath I take...Before...

I'll be honest, The concept I'm trying to accomplish here is incredibly complex and has just an extreme amount of details that I want to fit in, But can't do beause It would require writing book (Which is where the idea came from).
So....
Not gonna even bother explaining it
