I would suggest to replace them all. Try to do lots of bends on all strings and your de-tuning problem is gone today

If they are fairly new I'd settle with chaning the broken string. If they are old I'd exchange all of them.
Then play a lot before yout gig so they get stretched. I can recommend Elexir strings, after I put my first set on I was surprised these strings have a lot of "chime" and they didn't stretch as much as my old brand, almost nothing at all. Keep a set of strings handy also when you play live, and one of these quick machine head spinners is a must so you quickly change a string on stage incase one break. That and a spare guitar if you want to be real safe. -------------------- My bands homepage

I'd replace the whole set, if you broke your D-string, you're prolly not far away from killing your high E or B as well.

One of the golden rules about playing live is to ALWAYS put on new strings before a gig!!! Of course you can try to play a show with old strings and it might work, like this you saved some cash, but chances are rather high that you break a string and this really doesn't have to happen. When I play live, each guitar that I play tonight gets new strings for tomorrows show, always! Like this I didn't break a single string during an 18 months tour.

Always change strings before show...You have plenty of time to bend them and play in order to avoid detuning afterward..

Yes, this is also important, change strings early enough, not 10 minutes before the show, otherwise you will have tuning problems. My strings usually get changed after our soundcheck, which normally ends between 17:00 or 18:00, so if we go on stage around 21:30 there is still enough time.
