Back from the Musikmesse!

I had a blast, played soo many amps and guitars that I have never had the possibility on getting my hands on; saw some guitar-celebs like Steve Lukather, Paul Gilbert and Michael Angelo Batio...

I COULDN'T FIND MURIS! Too many people there and too much space, it's impossible to spot someone in that croud... I guess we walked by each other without noticing (ofc Muris doesn't know how I look like^^)
@Chast - Dude you look like 90% of the visitors, how are we supposed to recognize you like that?!?! tongue.gif

I also saw some exiting new gear:
- Gibson Raw Power series(All Maple Les Pauls and SGs!!)
http://www2.gibson.com/Gibson.aspx
- Marshall Haze amps (all tube marshalls made in India so they come at a low price)
http://www.marshallamps.com/product_range....oductRangeId=28
- Marshall Dave Mustaine signature JVM+awesome cabs
http://www.marshallamps.com/product.asp?productCode=1960DM
- Peavey 6505 1x12 60 watt combo for all you metal heads (sounded great there)
-ESP BLACK METAL SIGNATURE GUITARS for Dimmu Borgir and Behemoth:
- Dunlop Kirk Hammett signature wah

lots more, I am going to get some pictures up soon

It seems like you had a blast! smile.gif Must have been really cool to see so many people and between them so much pro guitarists. Those pieces of gear look interesting! Thanks for sharing.

I looked different aynway laugh.gif
Well it was my first time on the Musikmesse, and my main impression is "big and loud"
And around 13 o' clock it was very crowded and getting hot in the hall.

I found Muris smile.gif
We didn't talk that much, just some smalltalk, because I think we are both a bit shy unsure.gif
Muris, thank you again, for paying the sandwich biggrin.gif

I also meet Rick Graham and Tom Quayle.
Gearwise, I only tested one Flaxwood, which was pretty cool smile.gif
Muris also tested one. Rick recorded that test, maybe he puts it on YouTube, I don't know.
But next year I try to get in there before visitors day.
I was there at around 10 o clock. At around 13 o clock it was getting really awkward: full, loud and hot.
Around 15 o clock it slowly calmed down, but it was still too much imo wink.gif

It was a cool experience, I was quite exhausted of walking around for 6 or 7 hours, 2 hours drive.
My legs still hurt a little today after I slept for 12 hours laugh.gif

Cheers

Here are some photos I took.
Not much, but better than nothing wink.gif

The first Flaxwood actually should be green, but for some reasons the lighter of the camera didn't want to work that moment blink.gif

Actually we met indeed but we were both VERY tired,
Messe is too big and it was last day so it was also
too crowded and noisy, as Chast said it would be wise
to get there before last day which is open for all visitors. biggrin.gif

I took only few pitcs tho, nothing over interesting,
here are 2, me with Chast and then with Rick Graham. smile.gif

Those last two flaxwood guitars look immense, they must cost some serious money though... BTW was M.A.B playing his twin head?

Just to make sure, the last two pictures are fibenare guitars (well one guitar and one bass), if you didn't spot the banner in the background.
But they look awesome.
I think every Flaxwood is around 1300 to 1500 euros, I can't remember the price exactly.
The main problem is to find a Flaxwood wink.gif
