Pick Up Problems!

hey i've got a ESP LTD - EC 400 with a pair of Seymour Duncan JB59s, they have been fine but just lately some times... and only some times, it becomes VERY. active? sensetive? i dont know the word.. but unless i keep my palm across the strings it will make a very loud feedback noise.

any suggestions on what todo?

Does it depend where you are playing ?? CRT monitors and various electronic equipment in a house can make your guitar produce noise and feedback.Try moving around the room when that happens to see if you can get rid of the interference.

i've tried moving it and it's going trough a spider III 120 watt amp on about 2/10 volume

Is it feedback? If so something probably became loose. Is it noise? Check the isolation.

it might be loose ! i never thought of that i just tried touching the pickup to stop it being loose and it was fine, your a genius:P

What exactly is wrong with the pickups or your sound? Do you get some kind of noise? Can you describe the noise better, or possibly record it so we can hear it?
