New Gmc Beginners Course!

With six lessons, Ben will be showing you how he approached learning guitar as a beginner. Today's lesson deals with the absolute basics (what are the different parts of the guitar parts called, what are the notes called, how do you tune it). Coming lessons will deal with the pick (how to hold it), chords, using distortion, riffs, ear training and even basic scale knowledge and soloing. We have tried to give you the essentials, but without bombarding you with too many details. In other words we have attempted to isolate what we think is the most important information when starting out- to help you overcome common hurdles. We'll be here to help along the way. This is also the closest course I could create based on how I learned things on the guitar. So the steps between each lesson won't be too large.. the material won't be too difficult and the information you will be given is as much as you need but not too much. The foundation skills are are what everything else is based on. So building it right from the ground up is a great idea. If for experienced players, it's worth it to get back to the essentials and see where you might have issues that you may not even be aware of that are holding you back as a player!
