Hi Gab,

I missed some notes, I mixed two audio shots on the quick part.
I think I’m close, I’ll make a final take this month if I feel good but maybe it will be not better

Hi Gab

Below, This message for rec Section if you agree
tonight, I'm not very objective anymore. What do you think about it ?

I’ve been working on this lesson since august 2017
You can see my progress on the different videos below, (Clic on Show "SPOILER")

Since then, I have worked almost every week, sometimes I wanted to break my guitar, so difficult it was but I never gave up.
My reference video is that of digana because it plays a perfect take, this guitarist is so relaxed, I am admiring.

When I compare with the original, I still hear flaws but I feel like I have made a giant step from the beginning,
It’s not perfect, but it’s time for me to deliver it to you.

REC SECTION, if you agree

Hi MisterM!

Your progress is amazing! I've compared your first take with this one and the improvements are very clear. Besides the obvious tempo thing, I notice that your hands movements and posture are much more natural now, and there is a lot of feeling and dynamics in your new one. Your tone is also a lot better and more enjoyable.

I can't mark any relevant issue in your new take. I watched it twice and I loved it. Even the details that you are talking about give this one a nice feeling. This take passes at REC, with a 9!

Hi mate!

It's true that your thumb could be more relaxed when playing alternate picking. I personally don't use much thumb movement when playing fast, but I do it are more comfortable tempos. Check out this video by Kiko where you can see clearly thumb movement when playing AP.

Thank Gab for link

Tonight I made a video 90% 25 fusion jazz licks
I love playing this lesson, it is fantastic.
My playing is improving but there are some more complete sentences than others.

My hand is still a little stiff on the way back, I work exercises to gain flexibility with my thumb.
It will take a lot of time, I hope that the prores will come.

I noted licks : I feel good and those who are difficult

Hi MisterM! This is awesome! I love this lesson and it's on my wishing list to learn all those amazing licks. I think that you are doing a very good job with the licks. This will take a long time, but it will have a big impact on your playing.

The key is to identify which are the most problematic parts, isolate them and practice as exercises, and maybe make variations of this phrases or licks to master them.

This is very promising, congrats!!!

Hi Gab,

I work on my thumb every day.
The progress is currently invisible, it will take a long time but I am not worried.

I come back to a lesson I had given up: Hybrid Picking Ghoste Notes
it is still as difficult, here is take a 90%

It's a direct take with "Ntive instrument Guitar Rig"

Hi MisterM! This is sounding good mate!

I think that you don't need too much time to reach 100% speed and then polish the trickier (faster) sections. This is not an easy lesson, it requires a good control of rhythm, but you are doing a great job mate.

It's good to see you focused and working hard!

Hi Gab

Thank your for your encouragements
This lesson is really hard, I can play 95% since a few days.

The slide part is better but I have problems on the next quick part.
Fayed TAN plays it in hybrid picking, but it's impossible for me so I try with alternate picking

Here my Job on ZZTOP
it's still too nervous - I continue to work precision

Old version 90% march 2018

Hi mate! Great job with this one!! It's true that it's a bit nervous but you'll be able to play it more relaxed if you continue playing it every day. Try to "dance" with the groove while playing it. I recommend you to follow the rhythm with your head, or foot to feel the groove.

It's also good to know that the other lesson is evolving well mate, you are a really hard worker!! Keep on the great job! smile.gif

Thank you Gab

since a few days - I feel like I’m not moving forward right now.
I play without real pleasure.

Bad tone, bad feeling, very demotivating.

I will try to learn another lesson to break my too monotonous dailywork

I don't know, maybe my routine is too repetitive, the progress is very long to obtain

This new lesson motivates me again, it is difficult but it is a new goal
