  • Hi GMC!

Ready for some Boogie / Blues Rock riffin'?
    So let's get started!

Several difficulties in this lesson: the fast tempo with the shuffle feel, the strumming hand accuracy, the muting techniques and so on.

I think everyone recognized the influence of SRV in this lesson, so we are going to use his trademark rhythm technique : muting the strings while strumming them to create a percussive effect and add punch to our guitar part.

Tempo is 156 bpm and and here are the chords used in the lesson :

    I E7 I E7 I E7 I E7 I
    I A7 I A7 I E7 I E7 I
    I B7 I A7 I E7 I B7 I

    Gear used :

    Haar Stratocaster
    Fender Hot Rod Amp
    Lovepedal Amp11 Overdrive

    Have fun!
