  • Welcome to the "Rock Boogie Double-Stop Bends" lesson. This is the fifth lesson in this series and builds off of parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 ("Rhythm", "Riff", "Lead", "Bends"). Here we look at a Rock'n'roll solo inspired by rockers like Jimmy Page and Slash. We explore classic rock bending in conjunction with double-stops in the minor pentatonic scale. Tone-wise I am using the bridge pickup on my tele to help the sound cut. I am using a simulated Tubescreamer-style pedal into a Fender-style amp and a little spring reverb from the amp.
