Hello GMC! I would like to welcome you to my new lesson, titled '8-Finger Tapping Basics #9'! This time, you will learn two exercises for your tapping hand, that are intended to make your fingers able to play linear patterns with more rhythmical accuracy.
The first exercise is a standard four notes per string drill, with the exception that now we use our tapping hand solely. This may feel awkward first, but as you practice it, it will become easier to play.
The second exercise is a variation on the first, combining string skipping, which is interesting, because the string skipping adds another difficulty to the whole drill, in sense that you have to be more precise to land on the right string every time.
Tuning: EBGDAE;
Tempo: 120 BPM;
Time signature: 4/4.
