Javier Aviles2nd September 2012Flamenco is one of the most difficult styles of music to play. The chords are special, lots 9, 11, 13 voices and chord inversions, near the fusion music, but in general you get closer. The main scale used is the spanish phrygian scale, fifth degree of the harmonic minor. However, you have come close enough to the sound of this music in general. Very fast and clean your scales, great technique! The song perfect for a OST movie!

The guitar may be considered the most representative musical instrument of Spain. Francisco Tárrega, Andrés Segovia, Carlos Montoya, Paco de Lucia...
These names speak for themselves. Each of them has brought something of their own in what has today become a distinctive sound and style of Spanish guitar. Mainstream Flamenco guitar playing has a strong rhythmic base and requires a physical and energetic demeanor on the part of the player.
In this lesson, we will not deal with this unique fingerpicking technique, but the most commonly used progression with the use of simple minor scales - E natural minor and E harmonic scale.
