  • The "Kitchen Sink Country Solo" lesson includes a wide variety of chicken picking techniques like: hybrid picking, double-stops, triple-stops, hammer-ons, pull-offs, behind the nut bends, tuning key dips, open string pull-offs, and more. As with any chicken picking playing style is key. My tone here is twangy. I'm using the bridge pickup on the tele with some compressed overdrive and slapjack delay. All of the techniques on this lesson have been covered more thoroughly in other independent lessons. If this piece seems too advanced try some earlier videos to master the individual techniques before you try to put them all together. Enjoy!
