  • The "Surf Country" lesson covers a piece inspired by the playing style of Junior Brown. Junior Brown is known for unique style that connects vintage country, surf, and Jimi Hendrix. This lesson, while country in origin, has a strong influence of the 60s surf sound. Some of the unique techniques covered in this lesson are the use of tuning key drops in the middle of the solo, bending off of the fretboard, and playing near the bridge.
