  • Hi GMC! Here is a lesson based on the intro from the song "Never been to Barranquilla" from my album Compulsive.

    The song uses the A harmonic minor scale and passing notes to embellish the melody.

    Key Points:
    * Timing: Mid-slow tempo which requires you to be focused and precise.
    * Bends: Make sure you target the right pitch as it's needed for the right expression.
    * Vibrato: Different kinds of vibrato, not all of the notes have the same vibrato.
