  • Hi GMC!

    Welcome to my new lesson about Oriental Phrygian phrasing. Phrygian mode is an interesting scale, which can be applied in two variants: Minor and Major.
    The combination of these two variants can give us really nice and unusual passages, provided that in the backing track you have only power chords.

    The techniques used in this lesson are:

    * alternate picking
    * legato
    * hammering

    Time signature : 6/8
    Tempo : 100bpm
    Backing track chords : E5/ F5/ D5
