It was climax of lesson, slow build up rhythm then melodic approached followed by fastest rhythm soloing along with drum fill

Hello GMC!
Welcome to another Interval series lesson. Today we are covering Diatonic 5ths.
Diatonic 5ths in Major scale can be either Perfect 5ths or Diminished 5ths (Tritone). Since we have covered Tritone in previous Interval series lesson, today our focus will be on perfect 5th.
Perfect 5th has distance of 3 and a half whole steps. This interval is very popular among US guitar players and we also call it power chord. I am sure you know to play many songs with power chords by now as it is probably easiest way to learn to play songs :)
Because of this reason, I have decided to create very specific lesson with Diatonic 5ths and teach you some other things you can do with it.
Lets talk about chord progression now...
This lesson uses I VI II V chord progression. Tempo is 120bpm.
It is major scale oriented and is used in every style of music. We are in key of Bb major so our chords are Bb major, G minor, C minor and F major. Since we are using only intervals of Diatonic 5ths, our chords are mising 3rd so we get this open and cool sounding harmony. Thats whats happening in first 8 bars!
Second 8 bars use single note soloing using Diatonic 5ths. Here I aimed to teach you how you can create cool melodies and play trough guitar neck with this interval.
Last 2 bars use Satriani, Vai, Petrucci and many others soloing effect with diatonic 5ths. I am sure many of you will recognize it from their solos when you hear last 2 bars of this song :)
For this lesson I used my custom built guitar going trough POD X3 live into Nuendo. Effect I used was passed to me by member wrk(Andy) called Gilmourish.
