In this lesson we will see the application of the Blues Modified scale. I composed a solo so you can get ideas, patterns, arpeggios and different things to start approaching this new scale sound.

This is a solo in the style of George Lynch. It involves some wide stretches and tremolo action.

Different possible ways of playing diminished arpeggios in the style of Michael Romeo and Jeff Loomis.

Focus on chordal playing and the main challenge with this one is the large chord stretches - not for the faint hearted folks! Many modern fusion players such as Allan Holdsworth utilize chords which have pianistic like qualities.

Delay using mostly add9 chords.
