Sound: First off, let me say that last year when JFAC Were comin' into a wider view, the songs off there DOOM EP Really just sounded bad to me, i hated the Pig Sex vocals, and it just sounded unfocused on the Musicians part. BUT, About 3 days ago i heard a song called "Embedded", and i was really surprised, the production has increased greatly, the pig sex vocals are gone, which probably dissapoints some fans, and they have a new drummer who sounds alot better than there first, the sound on this record is great, it has some very great and catchy riffs topped over some Amazing drumming, and the lyrics are pretty cool as well. all in all, they have improved about 200% since i last heard them, and honestly, before 'Genesis' came out, i just didnt liek the band...AT ALL, but now, they have really impressed me with this album and everything about it.

Lyrics: Pretty damn good, it might seem like a Carcass album at times where you find yourself looking up words on Dictionary.com, but hey, atleast you learn something. The lyrics in general are good, there is a pretty dark and ambient atmosphere to them (which i like), the first song "Bearing The Serpents Lamb", is about a woman who gives birth to a 'devil-child' in simple terms, im pretty sure its a reference to the birth of the Anti-christ actually, or atleast it comes off this way. The lyrics are farily dark, and very vivid, i find them intersesting, if youre a death metal fan, it wont seem 'Extreme' or anything to you. you should feel right at home actually
