Rhapsody Of Fire is a Power Metal band from Italy who 1997 with their first album, Legendary Tales revulutionesed the way power metal should sound. They like to call their own music for "Film Score Metal". In 1991 Luca and Alex spended the spring and summer composing their first songs. Sometimes they composed their music on the top of mountains using the landscape for inspiration. They also found Daniele Carbonera who would become the drummer in the band. In 1994 they recorded their first demo called Land Of Immortals with contained the songs, Land of Immortals, Warrior of Ice, Rage of the Winter and Riding the Winds of Eternity. All theese tracks appeared later on the two first albums. In the end of the year the got a very enthusiastic offer from the record company LMP of Limb Schnoor. In 1995 they realesed their official demotape, Eternal Glory and the band got their first positiv rewievs. In 1996 they prapared songs for their first studio album, Lagendary Tales and the band hit the studio in October. They continued recording the album and at the same time develope new ideas. Then they meet Fabio Lione who was the best singer the band could ever dream of. The recording of Lagendary Tales ended in June 1997. |
