Introduction

Hello!

I recorded some nice things this week so I can teach you them soon after I finish with this one.

This one is another one in the Tov leiut Babait song I wrote. After the nice melody that was at beginning I wanted to go to a sound that it is little bit more rough but still not brutal one, so how do you that??

Well first of all in my head one I think about something cool and chill the first word that comes to me is Major. I tend to take the major scales for this happy stuff, and yes it is not necessary means that minor is sad and major is happy , it just the way you serve them.

Main Video

Well enough with talking let's start!

Here is the second part of Tov leiut Babait 1

Parts

I think the way you start makes everything. Well I decided to start with a nice tension caused from the B-C where this is the chord in the background. From there I went to the 3'rd degree of Cmaj (C E G) I don't why I am doing it but it is just something I like. I think this is the way you start discovering yourself. It is not a question what is wrong or right it is important what you like. And it is always nice not to be ignorant, and have knowledge.

A|------------5--7--8--------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------5-7-8---------------------------------------------------------------|

In here I decided to answer my major statement, by E pentatonic lick. That most of the weight's on the E note. Now I want you to practice really hard on the double stretch over there this is something that you need to do a lot in order for it to sound right. There is a lot of meaning there. And also play with the delay imagine there is somebody who chasing you.

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|----8-r/10\r8--------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------9-r-7--r7-----9--7br 7br-------------------------------------|

E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Now we said something in E penta yeah. Well we are fighting fire with fire. Think about it as an answer, I gave something to think about and then I answered. A lot of times I feel like the composition is right when you feel there is a dialog between the parts. Now give some strength when you hit those two notes right before the end. It spouse to be between clean and dirty. "Wwaahako" say this word when you hit the two string

e|---------------------10(h)-------------------------------------------------|
B|-------8---10/12-----10(h)--10---------------------------------------------|
G|----9----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------

E pentatonic
e|-----------------------------------10--12----------------------------------|
B|------------------------8--10---12-----------------------------------------|
G|-------------4-(5)-7--9----------------------------------------------------|
D|--------5--7---------------------------------------------------------------|
A|------7--------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Video 4: video_4.wmv ( 372.76K )

"Is he joking ??" no I am not joking, think about how we melting into space with this phrase I say something and then the weight of this phrase is so light that it is diapering And if you check again the song you will see it is a way to seprate parts in the song with having anything different with background, nice technique to get time to think .

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------12h14--12h14r12--/--9--/7------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Video 5: video_5.wmv ( 435.27K )

Now here is something really typical with pentatonic scales if you will notice there is a lot of notes that they are in the same bar in the first two string I use them sometime to bring some heaviness to the sound.

e|------15h12--12\15---17--15------------------------------------------------|
B|------15h12--12\15---------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Video 6: video_6.wmv ( 568.1K )

Here we are going in the scale of Cmaj and going down and coming back. And after ones again comes an answer. I want you please to start and think like this think about an argument that you are saying and then answer it. Sometimes it is hard to understand what I am talking about, first of all because I am not really good with expressing myself. And trust my kinder garden teacher she knows what she saying.

Well just try it and after a while you will see it is a good way of thinking.

Now don't forget to play the little race with your self here calibrate the delay to 100bpm

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----13--15--17--18-17-15--13----12----------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------14---------12-------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------12h14----------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Video 7: video_7_beta.wmv ( 825.96K )

Now this is such comment thing to do in blues, this stretch I would also say it is really typical to Deep purple. Now it is so nice to start and also finish with. Again I am using a lot of attitude. In the stretch and then finish it with slide nice answer by my taste to a stretch.

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----14b-14b(16)-(16)--(16)--(16)--(16)r14---------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------16r14\16---------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Epentatonic
e|----------------------------------------------12--15-----------------------|
B|---------------------------------------12--15------------------------------|
G|--------------------------12--14--(16)-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------12--14--------------------------------------------------|
A|------------12--14---------------------------------------------------------|
E|-----12--15----------------------------------------------------------------|

Final Words

Thank you once again for joining me on a lesson , this is my own material . and it is songs I am collecting now for with god's help one day will be my material as an artist.

With the lesson I wanted to give like always the way I think , cause it is nice you can do all this crazy slow/fast crazy/boring tech but can you express yourself?

Even sometime when you think it is easy you will find that you can learn from everything you play , sometime it is not even related to the material but you came to it through this.

Thanks a bunch for giving me your time
