When we were all kids, video games dominated our lives. May it be from the arcade systems or the beloved Nintendo systems. The soundtrack for game systems back then where simplistic but damn do they make those synthesis memorable. I bet if you ask any teenager the Tetris theme song or the Mario theme, they will pretty much sing it to you whether you want to hear it or not. I'm hear to bring back those childhood theme songs that are stuck in our brains. GMC, I welcome you to the Street Fighter II Soundtrack.

This soundtrack is pretty different from others games at the time. The street Fighter games are always dominated by the Japanese hard rocking composers who still have shred and and blood pumping riffs into there blood that the 80's American forgot about. This album features 10 track for different characters and stages. All from Ken, Ryu, Fei Long to Sagat and other genuine Street Fighter II characters.

Lets get down to the music shall we. The guitars are sick. Riffs are fun and catchy. And the ballad's can break any tough guys heart in a bend of a string. It has it all. This also have some feel of eletronica/synthesis that you hear in the arcade systems. Drums, well there simple. It keeps the groove going.

Overall, this is one of the best video game soundtrack to ever produce. Its up there with Zelda, Mario, and Final Fantasy. If you want to relieve those glory days of simple 2d fighting games of Street Fighter then this soundtrack will suit your needs you video game nerds.
