Jonathan Burgos

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Date of Birth: May 11th 1984

"My relation with music began as a baby, crawling between wires, playing with musical instruments. My father is a great musician and he taught me to play the guitar. He is the most important reference in my musical life, and when I was 12 years old, he showed me the first steps in the instrument. Soon I studied with different sources, these being, particular books of studies, professors like Diego Mizrahi, Guillermo Arrom, Guillermo Capocci, listening discs, etc."

"The first guitar players who captured my attention were, among others, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Norberto Pappo Napolitano, Juan Carlos Baglietto, Diego Mizrahi, Luis Salinas, from Argentina. In the international plane, Steve Vai , in Eat 'em & Smile (it was a different world). Then I knew Joe Satriani, Gary Moore; Steve Ray Vaughan with his unmistakable sound, vibrato and voice; Scott Henderson with his rare blues. And thus I got to know several guitar players who influenced the creation of my style."
