............ This is by far one of my favorite albums of all time. I could easily air guitar to Van Halen all day. I honestly believe this is by far one of the most influencal rock albums ever created. It set the standards for "tapping" , crazy muting techniques , and all out crazy-ness. This album....ROCKS!

Feel

Now the album itself isnt something you can sitt down and chill and be all calm. You are bound to be moving when this album is playing. Id give this album a 7 on feel strictly because I dont see A TON of feeling come out of alot of these songs. But thats just me.

Structure

I think the album structure is excellent, Its well put together and keeps you guessing throughout all the guitarsolos and what not. 8

Lyrics

10 Simple yet elegant, The lyrics are perfect. What Van halen did was put out lyrics that were perfect for the world . It encouraged rebellion and well started off what Rock and roll was all about. Drugs, Sex and well being bad ! Imho bands like Guns N Roses would have been nothing with influences such as Van Halen.
