Thanks for sharing your video and welcome to the forum!
Very cool jamming and vibe! You have a great attitude when playing. As the backing track is a bit repetitive, what would be interesting to try would be playing with dynamics and incorporating more rhythm diversity into phrasing + adding a climax in the solo and a bit of contrast in the lines. I have noticed that you didn't have pauses in your playing (we all tend to do it when jamming). Maybe try starting softly and building up the intensity of playing towards the middle of the solo. By making phrasing more diverse (avoiding long passages played with exactly same rhythm figures/note values), will make the lines sound "fresh". As a jam, I think your playing in this video has a great vibe and atmosphere and your playing attitude is awesome (which is the most important part)! Here are some lessons for inspiration that feature nice leads with climax or contrast creation: Climax: * https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/climax_in_a_solo/ * https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...t-adolphe-adam/ Contrast: * https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Improv...-Fast-Contrast/ * https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Improv...h_Low_Contrast/ Some lessons on incorporating pauses in playing : * https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/the-im...e-of-breathing/ * https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Improvisation-Breathing/ -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Hey mate! After a killer jam at the Vchat, I'm here to say that you rock. Your style is very unique, and your feeling is fantastic. Keep on developing your countries folk music in your style! That's what makes you unique.

You are welcome! Hope to see more uploads from you, maybe even a REC take? About pauses in playing - we all tend to get carried away when jamming and skip incorporating pauses. On the other hand, once you are aware of the habit and start experimenting with incorporating pauses in your phrasing, it comes natural and can make a huge difference in the overall leads impression on the listener. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Thanks mate, I'm glad of reading this. Could you please share some of your folk influences here? Sure I love the style of Erkan Oğur and Sarp Maden. Here are two links for them. They are not so popular in my country but they have unbelievable technics and feelings.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bYlZRG6hgM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JO4vn4pJWa4 |

Some really nice playing here man Good phrasing and technique, it works well. I get that it's a jam and such, and you've clearly got the skills to play whatever you want. Building a recurring theme/melody through line would the only thing I"d be able to suggest as the rest is already there. A melody through line becomes like the chorus in a vocal song, something to return to, build to, and pull from in the rest of the song. Looking forward to hearing more!!
P.S. KILLER job in chat today Those licks are not easy and you drilled and killed!!! Todd Hi guys! I performed a rock ballad jamming video and uploaded it. Here is the link. If you will watch, ı'll be happy. I am open to criticism Cheers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9-8gyYdWLw |
