Recording Videos With A Digital Camera |

I am thinking about buying a digital camera to record my videos as i found out i could propobly get a better video quality then with my webcam

The lens in a real camera is far better than the ones in webcams since they have a bigger lens and can let more light in..... Just make sure it has firewire output/input and that you have firewire on your PC. Then you have the option of recording on a miniDV tape and then streaming video to capture it on PC via firewire. (or you can stream live from the cam via firewire and record like you did with webcam). Check the specs on the camera you're interested in. Many still cameras that also shoot video record at 15 fps. It's a little jerky.

I would recommend good miniDV camcoder with Firewire, not a photo camera.
