hey Lian I was wondering if you could do a Dave Mustaine riffing/soloing lesson? I mean that guy has written some amazing riffs! PLus his solos are cool. Especially the one from My Last Words (Peace Sells Album).

Hope you can get one!

Connor

nice to see someone else around here recognizes him for what he is! biggrin.gif
Edit: however, for a lesson, you must include his spider chord technique. look it up.

Oh he's my all time favorite guitarist! The reason I started to love metal was when I first heard Symphony of Destruction. Then I got the greatest hits CD and WOW. Blown away. The spider riff isn't really too hard, it's just cool as hell! lol. I use it in my song Carnivale at the final speed run. Here's the tab you can probably see where I use it. It helps me keep up the speed and not have to focus on reaching that power chord on the 6th fret. Long live Mustaine! lol

This would be an amazing lesson! If you have the time Lian, you should not only do a lesson in the style of his solo work as requested, but also a rhythm lesson to go along with it. Maybe a 2 part lesson? Just an idea.

Dave Mustaine is an awsome guy, I had the privledge of meeting him about 4 months ago. He also signed my guitar!!!!! Such an amazing experiance!

On a side note - Thanks for everything Lian! Your lessons are always the best.

hey!!! I´ll work on it as soon as possible!!! guess what? Mustaine was one of my first influences so, I have no problem to make a lot of lessons based on his style! first years of megadeth are the best of the American Trash!

see you at "in the style of Dave"

Thanks Lian! This will be great! I can find a better picking style for true Thrash Metal! lol. And yeah Rust in Peace was great. SO far there are 2 Megadeth songs I can't play. Poison was the cure and Good Mourning Black Friday. God... Black Friday is sooooooooooooo good and hard!
