Nah, not yet... Are they shipping? However it looks promising, the number of amps, effects etc. is stunning, lets hope that at least ONE is sounding really good... biggrin.gif I'm still waitiing for these emulators to overcome the dynamic response and lack of tone problem...
Expect a review coming up as soon I've layed my hands on this one.... smile.gif

yeah, both are cool products, right now im using just GR4, dont like too much the amplitube 2 or the jimmi collection.
i'm also doing some experiments with the peavy revalver, it's kind off cool for heavy guitars!

BUT, the waves GTR really SUCKED for me..., any toughs on that one?

It will only be his opinion though and not mine!!
I'm not having anyone blame me for buying software they don't like!!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

PS. This is also the friend who i checked out those Bugera Amps with.

Same here Adrian. Although GR4 is great, I like Amplitube Fender a lot for clean tones. Have you tried it?

I currently use Peavey ReValver but will give Amplitube 3 a try when the demo is out.

ReValver is nice for clean sound as well. There is a few good blues and vintage amplis. I like them a lot and the tones sound warmer and better for me.

It seems anyway that they are all very good and in the end, it's like a guitar and an amp, you have to get the one that suit your ears. smile.gif

Saw my friend last night and this is his verdict after 10 Days or so messing about and comparing A3 to GR4.

"Compared to A2 the new A3 is far more versatile. Especially in the way that you can 'shape' the sound with Mic positions and Room ambiance. All the Stomp Box models are great as are the rack effect models. As for the Amp Sims? Well, I like all the clean ones, the 'Top Boost' and crunch Models but I'm not hugely impressed by any of the High Gain Sims, they just don't quite sound right in my Studio. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they aren't any good, they are, it's just that I prefer GR4 for the High Gain stuff. In fact this whole package is really good except for that one thing and I think this will come down to personal preference between the two packages. Having said all this, if you want to use Ampli for High Gain stuff then get the Ampli Metal set-up instead!
My conclusion is this:- I really like this new Ampli in every way but for what I'm doing at the moment GR4 is better sounding for me."

That's what the man said!

WOW I am getting this for sure. I've been using Amplitube 2 for a long time. Almost all my GMC lessons are done with it. This new relase looks impresive. Thanks for the video

yes, definitely looks awesome, I never used Ampli or GR, once I tried previous versions from both and it sounded me too much "digital" for me, hope you understand me...
in my case, I'm always looking for an real extreme sound and this only can be done by power tubes, in time of simulation, I'm pretty happy with what Pod Xt/X3 can do.

I agree Lian, for good overdriven tones POD is very nice. I'm interested to see if they made some progress with these software modelers tho. It's a mainstream product, but I think it can sound good if mixed properly.
