This is just a soundtest on Robben Fords "help the poor" -progression for a review Im writing on my new Suhr Strat Classic. It's recorded with no Eq in the mix and just a little reverb and delay.
EDIT: Recorded with SM57 and Fender Hot Rod deluxe. The take is like this: Neck pickup clean, Neck + middle clean, Neck + middle with TS, Neck with TS, Bridge with OD1. Btw here is a pic: //Staffay This post has been edited by Staffy: Nov 11 2009, 09:22 PM

Naah, its just some improvisation from my old jazz habits, I have a long way to go in order to reach what I played ten years ago.... Yeah it really has the TONE, as You can hear in the beginning of the sound-clip no effects is added except for reverb and a little delay in the mix. Its just the guitar and the amp, and no EQ in the mix either. That was exaordinary!
Through the monitor speakers it's so clear the guitar delivers it's sound not only through the pickups but from the bottom of the wood. So woody and sustainy. I could never belive a guitar could sound so outstanding. Now I want one too
