I attended a regional band contest with my two bands and we did not do too bad so we could qualify for the next round two times in a row. Last weekend was the north final of the country and guess what - one of my bands made it to the national final, which takes place at a big opern air festival (cool festival)! sounds great so far ... the problem is, they changed the date to the first of may and this is exactly the week when I will be on holiday with my wife and my children..... why do the best things in life always happen at the same (wrong) time???
