A friend of mine dreamed that Bach was dancing around his bed making fun of him for not being able to play good enough, one night before the Mozart Rocks! concert last year. He had to perform Bach's Violin Concerto in A minor, but considering all that stress, I think he did an awesome job! What do you think?

That's a very cool performance... the dream made me laugh !! laugh.gif I can really feel the nerves and tension while watching that performance.. because the guitarist can't afford to make a mistake like you can in Rock n Roll..!! mellow.gif It takes a lot of courage to do that.

I'm sure I've had loads of musical nightmares but the only one I can recall is that my band had our biggest opportunity yet of opening for Megadeth. Our performance was really unprofessional though and I was feeling really angry at my bandmates for letting the band down.. I remember thinking 'That's it, we might as well give up!' That wasn't a nice dream... sad.gif

Heheh I had a similar nightmare but this time all the equipment was failing on stage and we couldn't start the performance in time! smile.gif

Well, probably Megadeth were too stoned or something so they didn't notice anything biggrin.gif wink.gif they said "Hey you, the guitarplayer! yes you, would you like to join us for a solo at our next song?" and the nightmare became a nice dream biggrin.gif

Well, it wasn't practically a nightmare... but Radiohead's guitarist was teaching me how to play Paranoid android. Except that I was taking a dump (right in front of him, yes), so I couldn't. It was kind of embarrassing. biggrin.gif

I had the opposite. I dreamed that I am composing a super song with some awesome lyrics. Often I am relatively aware of my dreams, so after noticing "how awesome" it is, I forced myself to wake up, and wrote the stuff on a piece of paper, than I went back to sleep. When I woke up in the morning I was happy until I checked the stuff I wrote. It was PATHETIC ohmy.gif Was really disappointed:P

Waking up and having to start from square one, eugh. It's why I'm so wary of injury, through not warming up properly, and not listening to my hands.

PS Your mate did an awesome job!

I was not having these types of nightmares to be honest (or can't remember biggrin.gif ), but I did dream that I didn't have my guitar, somehow it was gone, and that made me scared smile.gif

Maybe you should have set your original goals - the dream - a bit higher! wink.gif

In the dream it wasn't such a big deal, though, it was almost like he knew what I was doing and decided to teach the song to me all the same... maybe I listen too much to Radiohead. laugh.gif
