Since I've been preparing an upcoming Student-Instructor lesson on the topic "contemporary jazz improvisation", I made a take to accompany the article. I may be excused for the playing in some spots, since I didn't really played jazz for some 20 years or so.... *lol*

Nice voice leading ideas, melodic approach, pentatonic scales, tetrachord soloing, chromaticism, arpeggio, motives, sequence. Great stuff man smile.gif

Thx. Pedja! Yeah, I really like the more mid-range sound... but this is not investigated really yet since Im trying to find my "own" sound in this genre, and haven't really succeeded yet....

Soloing in groups of 4 notes!
You know how every scale/mode has lower and upper tetrachord? Do re mi fa , Sol la ti do for example C D E F , G A B C. But that is just tetrachords for Ionian, there are so many more for other modes as well smile.gif
