Feb 25 2009, 06:03 AM	GMC:er Posts: 69 Joined: 25-February 09 From: Estero, Florida	After about two weeks of occasionally looking at the GMC site, I finally took the leap of faith and registered. Hmm where to start... My names Eddie; I'm 17, and a freshman at Central Florida. I started playing the guitar about seven months ago when I purchased a fat strat. Clapton and stevie ray opened my eyes to what a guitar can do, so of course I'm passionate about the blues. My stepdad was a guitarist, but my real inspiration for starting came out of looking for a way to express myself. My practice routine before this consisted of playing 4-5 scales to a metronome and playing a few tabs(painting by numbers) before getting frustrated and jamming chords until my guitar was out of tune.
