Hi all Got a new song in progress and thought i would put up what i've done so far
As with my other songs, i'm still a bit unsure wether the arrangement is just bad or if it's odd enough to actually work as a song. It's still far from finished though. The section that starts around 03.20 is a placeholder for a solo. Waiting untill the actual song is finished before i start on solos Comments, critique and advice is very welcome Test1.mp3 ( 6.38MB ) Number of downloads: 252 -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio

Trond... I think it is AWESOME bro! I'm not being fake because we are both on this site. I really mean it...that tune rocked!! \m/ I love the gallop that is about :30 in! Thanks I Think i heard a lick from a simple ryhm there, or similar it was great! bra jobbat Thanks Yea, occasionally i'll make things easy on myself I heard this earlier today, and as you know.. I liked it Very cool song mate Thanks You should really carry on with this song. If you do so, I will eagerly wait for that solo!! I'll post an updated version soon Really great idea here. I liked the powerful off beat rhythm and how your riffing was following the drums and bass. Just to give a suggestion which isn't meant to criticize anything. Maybe put your solo more towards the middle of the track to hold the listeners attention and a smooth harmonized sort of small solo at the end to fade the song out on. Thats a really good idea! I'll definetly try to get that worked into the song. Good job Trond, I like the way your guitar sounds . Thanks It sounds great, but what I think is that it won't be easy to add vocals to some of Your songs. They are very interesting thanks to the guitar playing, but such complexity can make lyric/vocal making more difficult. Anyway I am unsure about that as I have very little experience. So the best idea would be to try adding some lyrics/vocals to one of Your song just to check how easy/hard it is. If it will work, than valuable knowledge for the future will be Yours;) That's my opinion, too. Sounds great, but it could be a real challenge to do some vocals on that. Nontheless, very good work and I really liked the drums! Thanks But yes.. i'm aware of the vocal problem. For some reason i dont take vocals into consideration at all when i'm recording. Probably because i have no clue how to do or write vocals/lyrics Looks like I have to convince audiopaal to attempt to sing -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio
