Great solution man I was always curious to try out a Cornford, due to Guthrie and Richie Kotzen - out of what I know, he uses one as well. Are they player friendly or just like a Mesa? I don't think of Mesa Boogie as a player friendly amp at all

It depend of what Mesa model we consider. I'm afraid You won't like Cornford if You feel Mesa is not friendly. Mesa DR, DC, RK and similar were always a "easy playing" type of amps for my. Same with Peavey 5150, Krank, Soldano Slo and other from the family. Cornford is pretty hard to play. That's why I like it

It depend of what Mesa model we consider. I'm afraid You won't like Cornford if You feel Mesa is not friendly. Mesa DR, DC, RK and similar were always a "easy playing" type of amps for my. I was speaking about the Mesa Road King - for the more technical kind of playing it needs a lot of control to handle. I played it twice on stage with Domination and I needed extra care to make things sound good.

Totally agreeing with you man Thing is, you can state an opinion so that people could know that there's a chance for them to encounter the same difficulties or have the same advantages, but that should not be regarded as a certainty.

Trying a piece of gear by yourself is the true way of realizing things. I have a friend whom I have talked about on the forum before, who's hunting down instruments on eBay, he's buying them and keeping them for a while to see if they fit him and his style. If they don't he sells them, if they do, he keeps them This is TRUE testing, as in a shop, you might fool yourself due to the lack of time.

I for one, am very happy to have this dude as a friend - I bought my Yamaha acoustic from him He is an all around nice guy, but on the side, he is a walking musical instrument encyclopedia And a true one, as he tested A LOT of historically known instruments

Compact, clean, covers a little bit of everything. Nicely done.

I got a JHS Double Barrel recently. The TS side is GREAT, I was surprised. Just really good overall eq and dynamics. The Morning Glory side I thought was a bit lackluster. I guess they really are going for a straight up Blues Breaker kinda thing, so its knobs all the way up for the good stuff. As far as BB pedals go, I think there are better ones.

How has your experience been with the morning glory? What amp are you using?
