Purple Hayes - Slide Guitar Lesson, original lesson by Muris V. |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very cool take! Try to get it cleaner on single notes and try to hit exact pitches with the slide. Tone was very similar to the original lesson - good job on that.

The tone is very nice here. However, I think you need to work more on this, more in-depth. Pitch is not that great on some notes. Try to make it tighter, and stop the slide precisely above the fret for perfect pitch. Vibrato needs to be more stable and even, going left and right. Also, always remember to keep the slide at 90 degrees angle to the strings. Keep working on it.
