Hey guys,

I've been jamming and thinking, "Maybe it's time for GMC to have a new go at a virtual band!" If anyone is interested let me know! I'm up for one.

Care to join Cosmin? I was thinking it doesn't necessarily have to be a set group of GMCers! It'd be interesting to see how we all would mesh.

Currently I'm just kind of playing stuff that sounds....thrashy, but I'm down for whatever as long as I can play it. wink.gif I'm at a beginner phase as far as lead playing but my rhythm is good.

Band Name- CMiO with our self titled album CMiO

WELL

As far as organization goes I'm going to be honest. I don't mind being a band leader. However, I'd like to talk to some old Virtual Band Vets that used to be more active on the site for more information.

Right now I'd like to get a solid drum track. I could send ideas over to one of the instructors that would like to be involved. They could work up a sweet drum track.

I could play over some guitar. Someone else could play over that. I'd like to get some nice shred solo's in their (Todd, Ben, Gabe? wink.gif ).

I think it would be awesome if we could get the C-Man on vocals!

This band does not have to be one stationary set of people. I think before it was but I'd like this to be more of a gigantic collaboration.

I would say I'm in, but how good do you have to be to join you guys?... I don't think I'm good enough to be even in a virtual band with "Todd"...haha

You don't have to be amazing, but I dont wont this to as BIG as the collabs usually are. I'd say it's a late stage beginner band/intermediate band.

Don't sell yourself short! Everyone here is good enough to be in a band with anybody they like! smile.gif Everyone brings something different and special to a project. So jump in! smile.gif

This is actually a great first hurdle. Getting a drum track together for a song is quite often a real challenge in virtual groups, at least from past experience. But having a good drum sequence (midi works great so we can use our own drum programs, or we can just use real audio exported form someones daw) is a great place to start so we can start making up riffs.

Anybody got the cahones to build a starting bit on drums?

Todd
