'Sup people? biggrin.gif

I've been thinking of buying a used bass guitar to play with my band, so i've been poking around on the net, and found a few instruments of interest...

which one of these is better in your opinion?

Stagg BC300-BK

Stagg B300-BK

Hohner Rockwood LX90B (couldn't find any real info on this one, but if reviews are to be trusted, a nice instrument...)

thanks people!

Personally, I can`t stand Stagg....all guitars I`ve tried have felt awful.

I would rather search ebay for some second hand Fender, Ibanez or even Musicman. They will cost a tiny bit more even with a nice deal, but you will also have a MUCH nicer instrument wink.gif
And, you`ll be able to sell it again if your interest in bass should fall. Pretty close to no one would buy second hand Stagg guitars... since they rarely survive that long laugh.gif

I wouldn't recommend getting a Stagg bass either. If you are into lower priced range, check out Peavey, Squier,Ibanez, Yamaha basses.

That Hohner should be best of those 3 above, but I don't really know as I never had one in my hands.

Let us know if you find any more basses that interest you, so we can check em out! smile.gif

I recommend Peavey Grind which is very nice guitar. Also, check out some Yamaha and Ibanez models, they are worthy considering as well.

Thx for the help guys, but I got a great offer yesterday and immediately accepted it.

I tried a second hand Vintage EJM-96 and fell in love with it, very thin, comfortable neck, low action, decent sound...look beautiful IMHO. It's also a very loud bass. tongue.gif

Anyways, I got it for $195 with a hardshell case, which is half the price of a new one.

Looking forward to Bogdan's lessons now biggrin.gif
