thnx mates, just doing a couple of lessons that have awesome licks such ass the pinkie training lesson, awesome ! well, my main problem is that when I use alternate picking with triplets and run a scale up I will downstroke twice sometimes but when I go down a scale I never have this problem, is there a usefull exercise for this issue ? Thnx again mates Hello and welcome to GMC! This is quite usual problem. The trick is to slow things down and watch your right hand while you are playing alternate picking and concentrate hard not to play twice the same stroke in a row. You shouldn't increase the tempo until you can comfortably alternate pick through the scale exercise. Also you could go through this series of exercises for the right hand : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/lessonser...ht-Hand-Basics/ Cheers, Bogdan -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Welcome! I'm Todd and I do our Saturday Video Chat lesson which I'd love to invite you to! It's every Sat @ 10pm GMT. I"m stoked to see a fellow Vintage Ibanez guy I"ve got an old RG 560 which I just LOVE. They have recently reissued the RG series after years of requests from players. I love the new Ibanez models but the 550 560 have the best/fastest necks of any guitar I"ve every played.
Here is a link to all of our previous lesson notes in the forum from the Sat Video Chat.http://bit.ly/lessonnotes Welcome! Todd Hi, after seeing lotttts of cool vids on youtube the past years I now subscribed I loved the song 'A loner' and the Brutal bump Collab I am sure im going to get some usefull information of this site, love it ! anyways Im from the netherlands , 17 years old. I love new styles of music my gear : Ibanez rg 550 Korg ax3000g Randall rg200 I also have some epiphones and squiers but never use them because my ibanez works just perfect for me. at last I want to give gmc a compliment on the low subscription costs, I mean here I can't even afford 1 guitarlesson out of that. ty kris |
