ok quick question sorry to be a pain but i have something in b minor pent, and d major ( e dorian ) that sounds, i think, ok. is that a deal breaker or can i get away with a lil bit outside the guidlines?

Bmin pent works because B dorian has root, min3 nat4 nat5 min7 just like natural minor.

Pentatonic/blues scales are my favorite to solo with... hope you dont mind if i added some blues scale in here
