I proud to announce that thanks to a request by playaxeman, our Wiki now has a Chord Library. It is just started so doesn't have many chord diagrams yet, but hopefully will build up very quickly. Soon hopefully, I will post a tutorial on how to add your own chord diagrams to the library, as it does not take long.

Before that though I would like to hear if there are any features, changes to the format, or anything you think should be added or altered. During the next day or two I will try to implement any suggestions made. After that I will post a tutorial, start adding more chord diagrams, and hopefully this will become a very useful reference for all GMCers.

Looks great Matt !! Maybe there could be fingering numbers instead of intervals though ?? But both are very useful so I don't know.. smile.gif

As far as I can tell there is no way to do this on the software I have. I'll have a look and see if I can find a way of doing it, and if anyone knows some software that can do this, I'd really like to hear about it. Thanks for the suggestion, I hope I can find a way implement it. smile.gif

Exploring Guitar.

I don't know of a way to add the Fingerings in that. I'll have a look and ask around to see if anyone knows of a program that has that feature!

Unforutnately I can't find a program that allows you to put fingering numbers on the chord shapes. I'm going to start adding to the library tomorrow so unless I find a program that can do fingering numbers by then then there aren't going to be any. Hopefully it will still be a very useful reference though. smile.gif

Matt have you tried doing in it Guitar pro ?
You can export those chord diagrams - I know Emir does that or used to do for his lesson. It is possible to put fingerings on those graphs I think... Try it out smile.gif

Thanks for the suggesion Pedja, but I can't get it to do finger numbers either.

I'd just like to ask one more question before I start, do you think there is any point doing chord diagrams for chords in every key. For instance having an E shaped barre chord diagram in 11 positions. Do you think that would be useful for people who don't know the notes on the fretboard, or would it be a waste of time?
