Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Good take man! Your playing should be a bit tighter (there are some little timing issues in different parts) and you have to work on the fast palm muting sections. However you did a good job, you passed this one. wink.gif

Strong take man smile.gif Just some minor points that held it back from the mighty 10 were that some of the notes were lost in the riff at 0:27 and 0:36 but elsewhere your picking and synchronisation were top notch ! cool.gif

Couldn't find anything else worth mentioning (in the bad way of course biggrin.gif) congratulations on a generally good take! But as we all know, the devil is in the details! Work on those bits which are out of sync and it shall be perfect! All the best man!

Very good take, with well played first part, and decent riffing. I think you need a bit more tighter palm muting technique and picking in that part. Try to make your picks more controlled when palm muting, and minimize the movements. It will be a lot better. 8 from me.

Hi Zeus!

It's a tough lesson! and I'd say you nailed it, but it's not 100 percent

In the clean part you need to have your hand properly set on those chords, I know it's hard to get all the notes clean, but move your arm more if necessary

When the distortion kicks in there a bit of imprecision in the timing. Even when you play with that much gain you need to be really tight,

I'd say the last part of the lesson is your strong it really sounds tight and confident!
