Hehe! Thank you Gabe! Although I couldn't take any pics, due to the fact that I had to be in another place a little bit before the masterclass ended, I took the essential out of it: - practice slow and nothing will be impossible - believe and practice that one thing you can do best and with no effort and it will become your specialty - follow your path in life without straying and you will be happy - surround yourself with great people and you will learn and grow continuously - anything you practice must have musicality as the ultimate goal - it doesn't matter if you can't play 10000 styles, what's most important is to develop a unique personality as a musician - learn the tricks and processes in the music industry and hold a strong grasp on your copyrights - he stressed this out a LOT of times (he created his own publishing company when he was 21) - if you want to be able to get the music out of your head and onto your guitar - you need to start using your voice - I was so happy to see that he developed ideas similar to the ones I am using in order to shorten the distance from mind to guitar neck. - focus on everything you do - keep your mind there and enjoy every moment, even when you wash the dishes Basically, I left the building with a HUGE amount of energy and I realized that there is so much inner beauty within this man! I feel grateful indeed! Amazing! This is so inspiring. Thanks for sharing Cosmin. I hope to be able to assist to any Vai's Masterclass! -------------------- My lessons

this is quite possibly the number one easiest motto everyone should have, it translates into every part of live. if you want to be successful - hang around successful people if you want to be a druggy- hang out with druggies if you want to be a thief - hang out with thiefs but don't get to the end of your life and ask yourself"why I was not able to do this", if you look back and understand the people that "you" put in your path , there is a negative or positive affect they all had. 99 % of people are exactly where they should be in life due to there choices and those that have influenced their decisions , well my head hurts- to much thought for this early in the morning This is so true! I think in my music development playing in a band and hanging around musicians both offline and especially here at GMC was more beneficial then actual practicing I learned so much things it is crazy. I met some musicians who do not have "musician hangout" opportunities much and when it comes to certain situations it just feels like they lack a bit of that experience. Cool thing with hanging out with other musicians is that you learn from their experience. This gives you insight into things you didn't ever think about or had a chance to experience first hand. Also, when playing and practicing - this sort of environment gives you much more support, motivation and in the end a bit more objective view on your own playing, goals, aspirations. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
