Hello and welcome to GMC!!
Regarding your questions , warm up is important and 5 min is a minimum, standard length I guess is 15 minutes.More you do warm up before hard practice the better.Regarding long sessions , they are ok , just make sure that you make regular pauses at least 10 minutes after an hour session and to drink lots of water. If you are making regular pauses and everything you can play really long periods of time. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Welcome aboard Mario!
Regarding your questions, you can warm up as long as you like really, it's individual thing. I warm up a bit longer, around 10mins, but as I said, it depends. 5min can be enough if your fingers are warmed up in that time. About long sessions, definitely take some mini breaks here and there. I suggest not too long breaks, perhaps 5 minutes so the fingers don't get cold, and if it starts to hurt, then stop completely and rest. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

Welcome to GMC Mario.
To be honest I never really thought of warming up in my life tho most of the time I start my playing/practicing with something not so complex. My point is, if you're limited with time then try make your "warm up" more like a practicing or real playing, some slower solo, licks or whatever, let it be musical in a some way. And as for breaks, imo you should make one when you feel you need it, if you enjoy playing and practicing for even 10 hours there is no need to stop. -------------------- Youtube
