Greetings from Granada (Andalucia, Spain)!
In this lesson I'm playing a song which I wrote to show you how to play a melody with energetic bending and aggressive playing approach. This lesson features bending up-down, legato, tap harmonics, tapping chords and some tremolo bar vibrato.
I learned to do this kind of bending from guitarists like Santana, Steve Lukather and the great Gary Moore.
Music Style:
Hard Rock
Tonality & Chords:
E mixolydian over A Major
C Pentatonic minor over C Major
G Pentatonic minor over Bb Major
Techniques:
Legato,
Bending up-down
Tap harmonics
Tremolo bar
Tapping chords
Sound:
I used a Paul Reed Smith 25th anniversary with a little bit of delay and overdrive.
Tuning:
Standard tuning: E,A,D,G,B,E
Tempo:
150 bpm. (Slow parts at 75 bpm)
