  • Hi GMC!

I'm really happy to be able to bring you some blues guitar lessons. Our first one is focusing on the many fun and effective bends we can use over a 12 bar blues progression.

The real challenge with this lesson will be to hit each bend at the correct pitch consistently, practice makes perfect but your ear and feel will play a big part in how well it sounds.

The solo contains a mixture of the A blues & A Pentatonic major scales.

    Key: A

    Time signature: 12/8

    Tempo: 93 bpm

    Gear Used:

Fender Standard Tele > Way Huge Supa Puss/MXR micro amp > Guitar Rig 5 (AC30 top boost)

    Chord progression:

    A7 | D7 | A7 | A7 |
    D7 | D7 | A7 | A7 |
    A7 | D7 | A7 D7 D#dim7 | A7 E7(no5) |
