  • Hi GMCers! Welcome to another blues lesson of mine. Here we will do a blues solo, that I called "Angry Blues", because it is played with an aggressive attitude, involving lots of vibratos, bends, double stops, and faster passages.

Techniques that we will cover in this lesson are:

    - Alternate Picking
    - Economy Picking
    - Legato
    - Bending
    - Vibrato
    - Double Stops
    - Raking

For this lesson we will use standard 110 bpm tempo, 12-bar blues progression in the key of A major:

    A - A - A - A
    D - D - A - A
    E - D - A - E
